The only 2 mods i know about are,remove the remote head and take back panel off
of remote head.youwill see 2 wires,1 blue ,1 red.
clip those two wires,and reset the micro-processer by holding in the function
key.two get aircraft band recieve on 2-meter side go to vfo mode,and hit the
vhf band key.this will also give you out of band transmit,and 800mhz recieve
on the uhf side .to recieve 800mhz,you have to solder another antenna connector
to the uhf side on the board. good luck,and ttyl. 73 de JIM
