I have since found that mod did not completely cure the problem of overdrive fault on key up (especially when using vox) .A better fix is to put a time delay in the 12-0 line from the control board to the display board. This may be easily done on the control board. Break the 12-0 foil between the display plug and the mode switch plug on the control board. Install 250 ohm resistor across break. Connect 220mfd cap. from 12-0 on display plug to -ry on LV SPLY plug. Install 10k resistor across 220mfd cap. This will cause the 12-0 voltage to be reduced to 0 for an instant each time the amp is keyed thereby deactivating the overdrive fault for that instant. If you have futher questions please contact me. Hank Blackstock WA5JRH @ WB5FWE phone (405)842-8543. Tnx & 73
