JKISS software works with the MFJ C-series using the (now) "standard"
modification(s):

  1) Remove IC U40 (CD74HCT374E)
  2) Ground Pin #16 of the U40 IC socket

Additionally, the MFJ-9600 modem works AOK in this configuration too, up
to and including an RS232 port speed of 19200.
